Knowledge gained from this opportunity
Determine the challenges to be faced, i.e. the identified societal problems, who is affected and what are the repercussions on society.

The volunteers will know more about HIV/AIDs (way of transmission, prevention methods, misconceptions, different types of testing, PREP and PEP etc.) Following this session, they will be able to reach out to their peers and educate them on this topic and refer them to available services.

Good communication skills; Preference will be for people aged 18 till 24


Volunteering Opportunity Plan
It includes an explanation of the activities and steps necessary to implement the opportunity, with an explanation of the time periods and costs for each activity and for the entire opportunity, as providing this information accurately reflects the professionalism of those in charge of the opportunity and their experience in the field of community work.

The volunteers will attend a 2-hour educational session on HIV/AIDs at SIDC Sin El Fil. After the session and with the support of SIDC's peer education, the volunteers will attend one field visit and will reach out the youth to educate them on the topic and distribute self-tests and comms material.
