In celebration of International Women’s Week, the Youth National Development Association (YND) is collaborating with the event called “Fanoosi.” This event includes educational and entertaining activities for women in Beirut’s Souks. The program features various segments, including competitions among women from different age groups, emphasizing their unique contributions to society and introducing them to empowerment programs. During the “Fanoosi” event, there will also be a showcase of products created by marginalized women over a period of three days. Additionally, a short film highlighting the importance of women’s success in society will be produced.

The activity will take place on Sunday, March 10th, at the in Beirut souks as part of the “Fanoosi” events. Volunteers will gather at designated centers to be transported to the Beirut souks an hour and a half before the scheduled start time. The following roles will be assigned: Logistics Team: Responsible for organizing and coordinating logistics. Stage Games Team: In charge of managing games and activities on the stage. Women’s Role Awareness Team: Focused on introducing the role of women in society through presentations. Volunteers at Event Stands: Assisting at various event stands. Short Film Preparation Team: Collaborating with attendees to create a short film highlighting the importance of women’s roles in society. Generational Entertainment Game Stands: Engaging volunteers in entertaining games related to women across different generations.
