In celebration of World Health Day and under the slogan "My Health, My Right," Care for Me (Health, Ethics, Environment) is participating in a community day at the Fares-Ras Al-Metn camp with organizations such as SEF, Scale, ACA,YMCA. The aim of this day is to raise awareness about the importance of the elderly in our society and the importance of their integration in community gatherings, as well as to focus on some of the health issues that the elderly face, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity. Fifteen elderly individuals will participate in this day from The Oasis Day Center(Sahel Alma), which is affiliated with Caritas Lebanon in the Kesrouan region. Dar Mar Boutros for Rest, which is affiliated with the Mar Mansour De Paul Association in Shahtoul. Dar Al-Rahat, which is affiliated with the Sisters of Our Lady of Dolorosa in Ghedras.

This community day, which will take place from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, includes several activities carried out by participating associations, including sports, entertainment, nature walks, and awareness-raising activities. A group of people from various regions of Lebanon will participate in this day. The "Take Care of Me" Association will participate with 15 elderly individuals (10 men and 5 women) coming from various centers in Keserwan First District, Jounieh, including the Caritas Lebanon day center. The association will focus on running an awareness-raising stand with various activities: Educational games Physical exercises to assist the elderly in movement supervised by a physiotherapist BMI calculation, a form aimed at determining the health risks related to heart problems, blood pressure, etc., for the elderly Food safety with a nutrition specialist 10 volunteers are required, 5 males and 5 females. Volunteers interested in participating are required to focus on the elderly to enable them to participate in all proposed activities. There will be one or two volunteers per elderly person. The association will provide transportation (assembly point: Jounieh municipal stadium), and meals will be provided. Departure from Jounieh at 8:30 AM on Sunday, April 14, 2024, with the return to Jounieh around 3:00 PM.
