Our Lady of Peace Parish, Kfarhbab-Ghazir is conducting a campaign to clean up Maameltein beach facing Manaret El Khalij Restaurant before summer season, in partnership with Swim Initiative, Lebanon.
The objective of this project is to motivate people to pay more attention to beaches and emphasize the importance of sorting waste from the source to prevent it from ending up in the sea, particularly plastic.

- Arrival at 8.00 am until 12.00 p.m. (Meeting points: at the place of activity or at Our Lady of Peace Parish Kfarhbab-Ghazir, St Challita Church Square for car pooling) - Swim Lebanon Initiative explains the clean-up process. - The participants will then be divided into teams and deployed on the beach. - Gloves, trashbags and water insured - Meeting afterwards to share free snack - Raising awareness about the importance of sorting waste from the source and inform participantsabout the recycling project at Our Lady of Peace parish, which has been in place since 2022 - Discussion and disbursement
