We are looking for enthusiastic young men and women aged between 18 and 35 to join the Waste Management and Recycling Initiative, which is in collaboration with Live Love Recycle. This initiative focuses on improving the environment of shelter venues by promoting sustainable waste management practices.
As a volunteer, you will be directly involved in sorting recyclable materials, educating shelter residents on the importance of recycling, and assisting in transporting recyclables to designated centres. Your efforts will be vital in reducing waste, promoting environmental sustainability, and improving living conditions for displaced communities.

The Waste Management and Recycling Initiative will be implemented over one month. It will begin with an orientation session for volunteers and bi-weekly training workshops on waste management practices, sorting techniques, and community engagement strategies. Volunteers will be assigned specific tasks, such as sorting recyclable materials and conducting educational sessions, with schedules set for each activity. We will provide snacks during the training sessions to support our volunteers. Regular feedback and guidance will also be provided to ensure a meaningful experience and to enhance professional development in community outreach and environmental sustainability.
