Volunteering Opportunity Plan

nitial Meeting and Orientation Timeframe: Day 1 (2 hours) Description: Volunteers will attend an orientation session to receive comprehensive guidance about the project and its objectives. They will be introduced to the principles of psychological first aid and provided with essential information on the impact of displacement and war on beneficiaries. Tasks: Attend and participate in orientation sessions, ask questions to gain a clear understanding of their role. Training on Psychosocial Support Timeframe: 1 day (4 hours) Description: Practical, field-based training on delivering psychosocial support to children and women. The training will cover the basics of psychological interventions and the application of activities aimed at mitigating trauma. Tasks: Learn and practice psychosocial support techniques through interactive exercises, participate in role-playing, and apply psychological activities. Organizing and Delivering Psychosocial Activities Timeframe: Twice a week (2 hours per session) for 1 month Description: Volunteers will organize and deliver psychosocial support sessions in coordination with the specialized team. The goal of these activities is to help beneficiaries improve their resilience and cope with trauma. Tasks: Prepare activities and support sessions, actively participate in session delivery, and assess beneficiaries’ reactions in coordination with the team. Participation in Emergency Aid Distribution Timeframe: Weekly (3 hours) for 1 month Description: Volunteers will help organize and distribute essential supplies to affected families in the targeted communities, ensuring basic needs are met. Tasks: Assist in the distribution process, document needs, and organize distribution to ensure fairness and transparency. Follow-up and Evaluation Sessions Timeframe: Weekly (2 hours) for 1 month Description: Sessions will be held to review performance and monitor the progress of activities. Achievements and challenges will be discussed, giving volunteers the opportunity to share feedback and evaluations. Tasks: Attend and participate in sessions, provide feedback, and document lessons learned to improve future performance. Provisions for Volunteers: Transportation Allowance: A stipend will be provided to cover transportation costs to and from the gathering and activity locations. Certificates of Appreciation: Upon completion of the volunteer period, volunteers will receive certificates acknowledging their participation and contributions to the project. Guidance and Supervision: Volunteers will receive guidance from psychosocial support specialists throughout the program to ensure skill development.
